"Metamorphosis"

Everything changed when you realized

you were going nowhere fast

The child within —

has been resurrected at last

No longer held hostage by the past

They worked hard studying you

but of course never graduated

Couldn't convince you

though you felt persuaded

Failed to understand your perception

So they settled for their own deception

Warfare be it internal or external

sure is delusion

The world itself is internal projection

which is pure illusion

So of course this is a perfect formula

for total confusion

However, since nothing is forever —

You can now park the ism

Cause you know life's an art form

It is indeed a type of rhythm

but you don't even have to dance

so no matter where you're coming from

At least dare give yourself a chance

This might sound cheesy

Finding yourself isn't easy

You're so used to the world

beating you into submission

So you tried the same method

While entering into meditation

Surely the roads, they are many -

But as the saying goes, the master

appears when the student is ready

Since their perception didn't make you

How could their deception break you

The heart which exudes stillness

Can never be abused by illness

The Universe is closing in

The outside is kicking you in

It doesn't matter where you been

It's the unified field saying look Within

It's all symbolic,

indeed a metaphor - it - is

You're just a caterpillar in metamorphosis.
